tests how you kidney filter out unwanted chemical out of your blood
streams. If your eGFR is 100 or more then you are normal but none of
the lab provided that estimate anymore. But if it measured >60 that
is reasonably good, there is a calculation provided for the national
kidney foundation you can check as long as you have your creatinine form
your lab work. Remember any nephrotoxic drug (like NSAIDs class of
medications, they are aspirin, Advil, motrin, most pain killer are in
this drug class) will make your kidney work harder, so avoid taking too
much or for a long period of time.
